The feel-good stretch workout
Soothe pregnancy aches and pains with these totally safe yoga and Pilates moves...
As your baby grows and your body puts on pounds, it's normal to feel muscle tensiono and achiness. The cure: gentle stretching to work out the kinks. "When you're pregnant, everything is pulled to the front from the weight of the baby, which causes tight hamstrings, hip flexors, shoulders, chest, back, neck, and ankles," says Jennifer Gianni, star of the Fusion Pilates for Pregnancy video, who created this routine for us. Gianni mmodified classic yoga and Pilates exercises so that they're safe for all three trimesters. By doing the moves from a seated position, you'll take the weight off your legs so you're better able to target the muscles you're stretching.
